About Us

LiTTLE RED is a family owned business founded in the late 1920’s. The business has since passed through four family generations and grown from humble beginnings to the leading luxury- clothing retailer in East Africa. The current director, Karim Fazal, has been running LiTTLE RED since the early 80s and has over 40 years of experience dressing the most discerning persons across the continent. Karim and the family are involved at every stage of the business to ensure that not only the highest quality products are available, but also that our customer loyalty persists through generations. Karim has also received the honor of being knighted by the Italian Government, receiving the title of De Cavalieri, awarded to him for the strong ties he has created with luxury Italian fashion brands LiTTLE RED currently has two locations in Nairobi, both located in two distinct areas of Nairobi. One is located at The Junction Mall, and the other located at Nairobi’s most Premium mall, The Westgate Mall. Our Stores are both multibrand stores, retailing both men’s and ladies wear. Each of our stores strongly represent the brands we carry, as well as upholding the image of the brands that are being represented.

We are in the process of launching an online shopping website for delivery throughout East Africa for all the brands we carry, which will run under the Little Red banner. In addition, we are also now targeting the Middle Market with Vero Moda, from the Bestseller Group, which will have it’s own shopping platform and brand identity, amongst other brands which we will be introducing as we grow organically.

Brands
We represent an array of different brands, and are continuously expanding our brand portfolio, please see our brand portfolio also attached herein Little Red not only has a selection of luxury Ready to Wear clothing, but also offers a great Made to Measure service, with Pal Zileri, and the Su Misura service with Principe De Eleganza, Sannino Shirts, and soon with Van Laack which we do for the discerning across Africa This specialized aspect of the business is one that specifically caters for the individual, and we fly the Italian Master Tailors in to meet with our clients for this very personalized and detailed experience. Every part of the Made to Measure service is unique, memorable and allows the client to choose from over 100s of fabrics, from different colour tones, fabric weights and types of fabric, it is a truly one of a kind experience and service. In fact, we are also proud to be dressing a few Heads of State across Africa.

Strategy
We have a long-term strategy which is based on our culture. Within the next few years, we want to become even more customer centric, encompassing brands that enable Little Red to become more accessible We are currently on an expansion project to begin a shop-in-shop concept for our luxury brands, for both men and women in 2023. We are looking at opening 2 more locations for a shop-in-shop concept, both of which are within locations that will service a very distinct part of Nairobi, and one that is different to our current locations that we have a presence in Our main areas for strategic growth lie in a drive for growth, to accumulate a larger market segment, make the brands we carry available for online shopping within the East African region.
